What is Hacoo, and why was it called Saramart?

Hacoo's rename from Saramart is the first thing that confuses people: older posts, videos and spreadsheets still use the old name, and a search for either brings up both. It's the same app. What sets it apart from AliExpress is the format. There's no full website shop; you browse and buy in the app, and many 'Hacoo spreadsheets' are simply lists of in-app links or PDF catalogues of them.

Photograph the parcel and the item when it arrives, before you try anything on.
